I was awarded the Steinbeck Fellowship as an incoming 2026 MFA Candidate in Creative Writing at San Jose State University, with a focus on screenwriting — an honor. Before that, I earned a B.S. in Graphic Communication from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo — a useful, if unsexy, way of saying I learned to make things visual.

I write scripts to make you feel something.

Dual Citizen: Irish American, with a close-knit family that inspires much of my work. I've lived in Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, and now Palo Alto. Having spent my 20s in sales roles, I've developed a highly observational writing style. I'm currently focused on my full feature film script to round out my portfolio in my very Irish voice.
